School 2013

While most people couldn't wait for their kids to go back to school, I was NOT ready!  My kids and I had such a wonderful summer together doing lots of fun things.  Stetson started 2nd grade with Mrs. Wayman-she is such a fun, caring, wonderful teacher! Kyson started kindergarten with Mrs. Redden-she has been super so far!  And our Sissy started pre-k (2nd year of preschool) with Miss Melissa and Miss Roseanna-they are both so awesome, at exploring time preschool.  Stetson was very sad on the first day of school and for the first time he actually let me take him on the first day instead of riding the bus.  Once we got to the school, he settled down and was feeling okay about going.  He came home the first day and said "mom you were right, I LOVED the first day, we didn't have to do hardly any writing!"  Funny boy, glad he enjoyed it :)  Kyson on the other hand was MORE than ready for kindergarten!  He was super excited, he told me he wanted to ride the bus the first day and have me take him the second day.....hahaha, um no I'm taking you the first day, its a mom's right!  So I did, and there were even a few friends he knew from preschool in his class.  He came home and loved his first day as well.
Last year I taught preschool at First Impressions and Kadence was in my class....lets just say it was a long year with her.  We had our good days and bad, but she did give me a hard time.  So this year I was excited for her to go to school and learn with out me.  She was pretty apprehensive the first day...."Mommy are you coming with me?  Will you come back and get me?  How long will I be there?  I'm scared!"  It was a little heartbreaking to see her so upset and worried....we got to her new school and I thought she was going to cry....Nope, no tears here!  Her teacher came out and got her and away she went!  When I returned to get her Miss Roseanna said Kadence continued to remind them that her mom dropped her off, but would be back to get her.  LOL, they said she never cried, though.  Happy kids=happy mama!!

Kadence was being such a stinker that morning!  So I took the pic with her crying anyways :)

My cutie pie kids, LOVE them!
Best buddies starting kinder together, in different classes though.  Kys and cousin Carter.
Getting home on the bus, he loved riding it at first, now he wants me to pick him up.

 She is such a princess....
