May/June 2013

I have been telling myself I'm going to start a blog for the past few years and now that I'm not working I think I can find time to blog at least once a week.  Or at least I hope I can.  Last year I worked as a preschool teacher at First Impressions and I truly loved it!  The kids were so cute and funny.  I found out late October we were expecting an unexpected surprise...yep I was pregnant!  I was super excited, Roy was unsure, we already had three beautiful, healthy children and he was done after we had Kadence.  I was never 100% done having children, so it was a welcome surprise and eventually Roy came around and embraced the idea of welcoming another baby into our family.  We waited until March to announce our news, we told my parents first who were over the moon excited for us!  We then went on to tell the rest of our families, friends, co-workers, and bosses.  It was hard for me to tell my bosses that I would not be returning to teach preschool the next year, but they accepted it and understood.  Preschool Graduation in May was a little bittersweet, it was my last day working and of course Kyson graduated!  I was ready to start summer with my three older children and we did some really fun things before our baby was due on July 3rd.  The last few weeks of pregnancy was hard...would our baby be a boy or girl?  We did not have many baby items, I had gotten rid of a lot of my stuff after Kadence.  I slowly gathered a few things here and there, baby clothes, diapers, wipes, blankets...all things needed for a newborn.  Here are a few pics from spring and summer.
